Paros is an attractive island and has some of the finest beaches in the Cyclades. The main town and port is Parikia, on the west coast.

- Parikia's Panagia Ekatontapyliani, one of the most notable churches in Greece, features a beautiful, highly ornate interior.
- The charming village of Naoussa, filled with white houses and labyrinthine alleyways, still a working fishing village.
- Popular beaches served by caique from Naoussa include Kolimvythres, with bizarre rock formations, and the Monastiri.
- Paros' longest beach, Hrysi Akti on the South coast is popular with windsurfers.
- The picturesque villages of Lefkes, Mamara and Marpissa are worth a visit and offer good walking opportunites. The Moni Agiou Antoniou (Monastery of Saint Anthony), on a hill above Marpissa, offers breathtaking views.
- Antiparos, a small island, less 2 km from Paros has superb beaches and its cave, considered one of Europe's most beautiful cave.
